Every religions or beliefs have a group that tend to purify their tenets, to eliminate the sincretic aspects, to sort between local tradition and universal teaching. Within this circumstances, the existence of society with hybrid identity poses as a threat, it becomes thorn in the flesh. On the other hand, as shown throught out history, the presence of hibridity among multicultur and heterogen society is inevitable. One of them are Buddha Jawa community in Jatimulyo, Kulon Progo who become a learning space for @candradvii in exploring hybrid identity in Javanese community.
